Parking:

• The nearest parking option is the Castle Rising Car Park, located directly adjacent to the castle entrance. This car park is usually sufficient for most visitors, providing a short walk of approximately 5 minutes to reach the castle grounds.
• An alternative parking option is the lay-by along Lynn Road, about a 10-minute walk from the castle. This option may be useful during peak times when the main car park is full, though it requires crossing a small road to access the castle.

Access:

• The path from the car park to the castle is generally flat and well-maintained, making it suitable for photographers with heavy camera kits. However, some areas may become muddy after rain, so sturdy footwear is recommended.
• The grounds surrounding the castle are open access, allowing for exploration of various angles and perspectives. There are no gates or stiles to navigate, simplifying access.
